 News Update!


Thanks for those that came along  for the
Humanitarian fund raising night for the Ukraine on the 29th
at the Maghull Foilk Club
Thanks to all that donated and the total  money raised
on the night was 1,425 (including the clubs donation)
to be donated to the DEC

Other news!

The sad passing of a great folk organiser,
supporter, singer, drummer, and master of ceremonies
Clive Pownceby.
Well known in the folk world as the main organiser of the
Bothy Folk Club, Southport.

Clive also MC / hosted at Whitby, Flyle, Wirral Folk Festival
The Love Festival, Southport and also
The Maghull Day of music.
Our condolences to Jean, the members of the
Bothy Folk Club and beyond.

The Maghull Folk club is now held at the newly refurbished
MCA, 604 Green Lane, Maghull, L31 2JH


There is a licensed bar  at the premises.

There is 2 car parks, a small one to the front of the building and a large
 one to the side at the rear, there is also a raised section that
is accessed beside the railings which run parallel with the canal.

We will start at 8pm and finish at 10.40pm
There will be a short break during the evening.
Doors open at 7.30pm
There is a 2. admission for singers nights which include a raffle ticket,
guest night are ticketed which vary in price and are available in advance at the
club or on the' We Got Tickets' site.

We are not out of the woods yet regarding Covid-19
If we need to use the P.A. we will supply a Mic cover
for each individual singer, if  you wish to sing and have
your own please bring it along.
The host will adjust the mic stand for you.

Aigburth Cricket & bows Club
Southwood Rd,
St. Michael in the Hamlet
Liverpool 17.
(Right next to St. Michael's railway station
on the Hunts Cross - Southport, Merseyrail line.

Note ! It's requested that you have had both covid injections
Covid restrictions are observed.
